AFIDEP and other stakeholders led by the Kenya National AIDS Control Council (NACC) will be hosting the 4th Maisha HIV and AIDS Conference whose theme will be Translating the Science to End New HIV Infections in Kenya: Perspectives, Practices and Lessons.
The conference which is scheduled to take place from 28th to 31st May 2017 seeks to promote public engagement in understanding existing and emerging HIV prevention, care and treatment research. It further seeks to explore the utility of these research findings in every-day policy and implementation decisions not only in health care service delivery, but also in community HIV services, financing decisions, planning by organisations and across sectors in order to create the necessary ripple effect for HIV epidemic control in Kenya.
The deadline for abstract submission is midnight, 28th February 2017. For more details on the conference, including abstract submission click here
