AFIDEP is supporting the Kenya Ministry of Health Reproductive and Maternal Health Services Unit (RMHSU) quarterly Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Technical Working Group (ASRH TWG). Violet Murunga, Knowledge Translation Officer, will be presenting the preliminary results of a national survey of ASRH programmes in Kenya conducted from 16th September – 5th October 2015. The survey sought to map out the coverage of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health programmes in Kenya in terms of geography, focus and type of interventions.
The ASRH TWG is made up of state and non-state actors, funding and implementing ASRH programmes in Kenya. The TWG meets on a quarterly basis to discuss and formulate solutions for collectively addressing pressing ASRH policy and programmatic issues. The meetings also offer an opportunity for partners to share their ASRH work and research.
