The African Academy of Sciences (AAS) in partnership with the Malaria Research Capacity Development in West and Central Africa (MARCAD), Developing Excellence in Leadership and Genetic Training for Malaria Elimination in Sub Saharan Africa (DELGEME) and Afrique One African Science Partnership for Intervention Research Excellence (Afrique One ASPIRE) will be hosting the 2019 DELTAS Africa Scientific Conference in Dakar, Senegal from 15 – 18 July 2019.

The objective of this conference is to assemble DELTAS scholars, trainees and practitioners from diverse disciplines who are involved in carrying out research and other collaborative activities in all the thematic areas of the DELTAS Africa programme. It is expected to provide a platform for DELTAS Africa trainees (in particular) to showcase the excellent scientific research being funded through the DELTAS Africa grant.
