In recognition of AFIDEP’s support to the Malawi Government in policy formulation and evidence use, and the institution’s longstanding partnership with the government; will be signing a special agreement with the government to further strengthen our partnership.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will sign an Order of Recognition under the Immunities and Privileges Act document. The Order of Recognition grants AFIDEP diplomatic status.

The ceremony will be presided over by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and patronised by government officials and development partners.
