The Ministry of Health of Kenya and the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) will be hosting a week-long virtual workshop in Kenya on systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The workshop is a part of the Heightening Institutional Capacity for Government Use of Health Research (HIGH-Res) programme and seeks to promote the use of evidence synthesis for informed health decisionmaking while providing information, advice and mentorship on evidence synthesis.

The course is designed to cater for two types of participants; one who intends to understand the various elements involved in systematic reviews and one who wants to complete a Systematic Review/s. The course and additional online learning material cover areas including: question formulation, protocol, developing a plan to conduct your review, PRISMA guidelines, and critical appraisal.
