African Union Commission’s Koukou Sename Djagadou on Africa’s progress in achieving a demographic dividend
20 December 2019

At the 8th African Population Conference in Nov 2019, we caught up with the African Union Commission’s Koukou Sename Djagadou, who supports the AU Commission’s work on the Demographic Dividend.

We speak to him about the various ways African countries are gauging their own progress in harnessing the Demographic Dividend, and why Governance and Accountability should be at the center of all the interventions African governments and the development community implement to invest in the population – especially young people  to transform lives.
