Benjamin Azariah Mosiwa
Research and Policy Associate

Benjamin Azariah Mosiwa joins AFIDEP as a Research and Policy Associate in the Malawi office.  He will support the light project and other health related projects.

Benjamin is passionate about strengthening health systems in low- and middle-income countries. He brings in over Eight Years’ work experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating health projects.  Prior to his role at AFIDEP, he served as a Research Fellow at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences. He has also worked with Facilitators of Community Transformation (FACT) as a Director of Programs and Strategy and Senior Program Associate respectively.

He holds Master of Global Health Policy from the University of Edinburgh and Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University of Malawi.

In his free time, he likes to play with his son, read personal development books, engage in debates on several issues, and converse with young people on various life topics.
