Brenda is currently undertaking a Ph.D. in Policy in Lung Health at the London School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) under the International Multidisciplinary Programme to Address Lung Health in Africa (IMPALA).
She currently holds a Bachelors’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University Of Nairobi, a Diploma in HIV Management from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and a Masters in Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (UK). She is also a graduate of the Leading High Performing Healthcare Organisations programme at the Strathmore Business School, Kenya.
Brenda possesses over 10 years national and international professional experience in clinical care and public health approaches to management of infectious diseases in developing countries, especially in TB/ HIV. She has expertise in infectious diseases, TB/HIV management, public health, senior management, strategic planning, operations management, financial management, and quality improvement.
Brenda has special interests in HIV, TB and nutrition on clinical, research and public health management.
