Carol has diverse research and project management skills and has over the years built competencies in scientific writing, project management, qualitative and quantitative research and project monitoring and evaluation. Her areas of experience are on reproductive health, maternal and child health and non-communicable diseases.
She previously worked with the Innovations Poverty Action as a Research Associate and prior to this at the African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC) as a Research Officer. She has worked on the review of several county health sector strategic and investment plans.
Carol holds a Masters’s degree in Demography and Population Studies from the University of Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of arts degree in International Relations from the United States International University-Africa with various certificate-level training on data management, STATA, NVivo data analysis, French, monitoring and evaluation, and scientific communication and publishing.
Her areas of interest are reproductive health, child health, and non-communicable diseases, health system strengthening and project monitoring and evaluation.
