Evans provides science and communications research support through the management of the Institute’s digital and offline channels of communications, and the production of science and research-based content.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Public Relations from Moi University and has an interest in pursuing further education in Public Policy.
Evans joined AFIDEP in 2016. He has previously provided technical support for business and development consultancies and social science research projects. Other professional pursuits have involved graphic design, data visualisation – as an effective tool for influence – and social media marketing and management. He previously served as a research assistant at E&K Health Consulting, where he contributed to the research and writing of business reports. He is an alumnus of AIESEC, having once been the youngest-serving Vice President-Communications and Information Management globally.
Evans has a keen interest in geopolitical policy issues, literature, and technology. His career goal is to continually find ways of creating or extracting important stories that will contribute to shaping the contemporary public and policy affairs in Africa.
