Evans supports the communications team in managing the presence and visibility of the organisation through the preparation of knowledge products and the management of informational assets and promotional platforms.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Public Relations from Moi University and has interest in pursuing further education in Public Policy.
Evans joined AFIDEP in 2016 and has previously provided technical support for business and development consultancies, social science research programmes and to independent researchers. Other services have involved communications, accounts management, graphic design, data visualisation and social media marketing. He has served as a research assistant at E&K Health Consulting, where he provided research support in preparing study reports. He is an alumnus of AIESEC, having once been the youngest-serving Vice President (Communications and Information Management) globally.
Evans has a keen interest in policy issues of the geopolitical orientation, literature, technology, cultural criticism, anthropology and philosophy. His career goal is to continually find ways of creating or extracting important stories that will spark the movement of the culture of research into policy, and thereafter into practice.
