Julius Rwenyo
Research Assistant

Julius joins AFIDEP as a research assistant intern with the Team Up project. 

His roles include supporting the project in the entire research and policy analysis process. He has previously worked at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) as an Intern in the Social Science and Impact Assessment Unit and The Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization in the socio-economic department. 

Julius is a young dynamic researcher with skills and interests in data collection, cleaning and analysis using statistical tools such as CSPRO, ODK and KOBO toolbox and STATA. 

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics and rural development from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He is passionate about research as it gives evidence to solving global problems.

In his free time, Julius enjoys motorcycling and watching football.
