Nina supports AFIDEP’s Research and Knowledge Translation team, particularly on the Full Access Full Choice Project. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Geography. Her undergraduate dissertation research project was on the impact of the Mexico City Policy on women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights in Kenya.
She has previously volunteered at a girl’s shelter in Nairobi which offers direct assistance to girls who are victims of human trafficking, child labour, forced migration, and sexual abuse.
Her interests lie in sexual and reproductive health, health policy and human rights.
