Richard joins AFIDEP as Finance and Administration Manager to be based in the Kenya Office.

Richard is a Finance and Administration Specialist with a vast experience in finance operations, grants and sub-award management, human resources management, security management as well as strategic planning and execution.  He also has experience with donor funding requirements and regulations including Danish International Development Agency Kenya (DANIDA), The Department for International Development (DFID, European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), United Nations Agencies, World Bank, Gates Foundation, The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), Canadian International Development Agency (Kenya) CIDA, Kindernothilfe (KNH), Partnership for Transparency Fund (PTF) among others.

He brings over in over 19 years of experience in consulting and finance and administration field having worked as a consultant and as head of finance in various organisations. Prior to this, He worked as a team leader with Richent Consulting Services, and Head of Finance and Administration at Act Change Transform.

Richard holds a Master of Business Administration from Moi University in Kenya and a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya – CPA (K) from Strathmore University.

In his free time, Richard enjoys farming and nature walking.
