Thandiwe joins AFIDEP on a short-term contract, as a Conference Coordinator for the upcoming 09th African Population Conference for the Union for African Population Studies (UAPS). She will be based in the Malawi Office.
Thandiwe is a seasoned conference coordinator with over five years of extensive experience in planning and organising international conferences and events. She has also experience liaising with various event service providers, such as catering, audio-visual, and transportation companies.
Before joining AFIDEP, she worked with Procasur Corporation-Chile as the Logistics Coordinator. She has also served as the Operations Manager for Zintambila Transport and as a Regional Accountant at the Tourism Department, Malawi.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business, Adelaide – Australia. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the London School of Accountancy and Management, London, United Kingdom.
During her free time, Thandiwe enjoys reading books, shopping, and traveling to new places. She also loves watching movies and hanging out with friends.
