AFIDEP’s Annual Board Meeting to take place in Malawi this week

The annual meeting of the AFIDEP Board of Directors will take place in Lilongwe, Malawi this week April 27 to 29, 2017. The meeting convenes AFIDEP’s Board of Directors to review the Institute’s strategy and its delivery, and provide advice and guidance on how the Institute can be more responsive and impactful in contributing to tackling urgent development challenges in Africa.

This is the first time the meeting is taking place in Malawi, and previous meetings have been held in Nairobi, Kenya, the home of AFIDEP’s head office.

While in Malawi, the Directors will participate in the launch of Malawi’s parliamentary caucus on population and development on Thursday April 27, 2017.
