Inaugural Symposium of the Kenya Think Tanks Programme

The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) will be hosting a symposium that will provide a platform for stakeholders can engage in discussions on policy and policy-making processes. The symposium will be held on 27 November 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Themed, “Policy-makers and think tanks engagement in strengthening evidence-informed policy-making,” the symposium is anticipated to bring about deliberations to tangibly identify practical ways to strengthen the link between policy-makers, think tanks and non-state actors for evidence-informed decision making.

Dr. Rose Oronje, Director, Public Policy and Communications at AFIDEP  will moderate a session on “Demand for evidence at the different stages of the public policy process,” at the symposium.
